    Stock Fuel pump psi

Well Do you know what the stock pump puts out PSI wise. I know the sytem holds 3.5 bar/50 psi but what does the pump put out.

The one im looking at these are its specs •255 LPH Feeds up to 750 HP at 60 psi

I think that would be too big a pump for the fuel pressure regulator and result in excessive rail pressure. I don't remember the specs for a stock pump but I'm pretty sure it was a lot less.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The OE pump works great and fits perfectly...

Not when Im converting to a single pump my cars a 87- built 12/86

Im just doing this to simplify things.

I know its more than enough for my m50 as well but me converting to a single pump is cheaper and less to worry about.

Not sure about the housing, I don't know all the little differences between the builds of cars, but my TRE has been great so far. They also come with a one year warranty.

I don't think it's that loud, it is definitely quieter than my stock pump that was on its way out.

The 318i(s) housings have a fuel return line on them. Yours might not have it since its a 6cyl car.

318i(s) pump/housing on the top and fuel pump from a 325i(s) on the bottom for reference.
