    Steering column swap?

Asking for a freind, he does not like the idea of using a spacer to fit his non airbag wheel onto his car( ). Wants to know if you can just bolt up the non-SRS steering column in place of the SRS one, or do you need the whole rack/connector from a non SRS car as well?

there are so many differences it's probably not worth the trouble.. the pedal assembly is different, the steering joint is different, and I think the steering rack has some differences as well.

nando's right, though it's definitely possible
The steering column is not attached with bolts with heads though, if you decide do change them, you're going to have to deal with that (dremel or something)

Well, i finnaly convinced him to just throw the Mtech wheel on and use a spacer like i did. He wants to just stack up a bunch of those 14mm washer though, i guess you can't teach em everything.
