I am trying to replace my clutch in my 1989 325i. Does anybody know how to do this? I think I have the general idea. In order to get at my clutch, I have to remove my Tranny. In order to remove my tranny, I have to disconnect the shifter and the driveshaft. In order to disconnect the driveshaft, I have to remove the exhaust. This is where I am stuck. I tried unbulting the exhaust from the headers, but the bolts are in awkward places and are frozen. I sprayed a lot of penetating fluid on the bolt, but was only able to remove one bolt (out of six). Any advise? Please let me know of any tips regarding clutches or anything I just mentioned. Am I correct with what i have to do to replace the clutch? Thanks
