Getting engine and tranny in together

This is for an M42 motor.

I've finally gotten my motor good to good to go, and i got the tranny bolted up, what i was hoping is that i would be able to put the motor and tranny together into the engine bay.

would anyone have any experience doing this? It seems like it would be a lot easier (especially for me as me getting under the car and lifting the tranny and getting it on in that tight space is next to impossible)

It looks like a pretty straight shot to get it in, but i'm not totally sure on if i can get the front end of the car totally off.

I'd prefer to do it like this incase there are any problems and i have to pull it again i dont have to fight with splitting the tranny and getting them both out seperate, i can just pull the whole damn thing out and take care of the problem.

    I've done it

it required me to fully extend the engine , (motor) hoist and use a leveler.

also, had to raise and lower the car to create the best angles.

it should be super easy with an M42, the motor and transmission are both much shorter than a 6 cylinder.

Here's mine with a transfercase attached
