Cleaning up the mess I made...

I'd like to hear how you guys go about cleaning up spilled oil in your concrete garages. Do you use, Simple Green? Sand? Kitty litter?

    Here's the story:

I recently bought an M20 off of some random guy in the Flatbush part of Brooklyn. I got it back to the shop and put it in a corner on a dolly where it would sit until I was ready to tear it down. A few days later I returned to open the garage door and I find a huge spill of oil, A/T fluid, and coolant.

Turns out the guy just cut every hose he saw and pulled the thing right out without draining any fluids. That didn't surprise me, but what I really can't believe is that we made it all the way home without spilling anything in the back of my friend's truck, not to mention that we took the thing out of the truck bed by hand without getting anything on our clothes.

So, I cleaned up the majority of the liquid, but I still have an area of about 10" by 6' which is for all practical purposes a skating rink. I feel like Apollo Ono, how do I get rid of the residue?

    Thanks!

I buy the cheap ass 25 lb bags of kitty litter at Wally world and use a block of 4x4 wood to scrub it into the concrete, works mint.

Cover the area with oil sorb (or kitty litter). Wait a bit for it to pick up the liquid and then remove the soaked material. Cover the area with fresh oil sorb and let it sit for a few days. The fresh oil sorb will pull the oil/coolant/etc from the concrete.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
