going to install m3 rack this weekend, any tips?

Tips? Skip the E30 M3 rack and go for a Z3 rack. ;)

yeah, i'm actually pulling my e30 m3 rack out to install a z3 rack.

thanks, but does the 318is tie rod fit the e30 m3 rack? or do i have to get new one?

Was there at least a noticeable difference over stock with the e30 m3 rack? I think anything is an improvement..

e30 -> 95m3 rack was seriously the next best thing to suspension and tires. i couldnt imagine it stock.

got to e30 m3 rack installed today but dam the alignment is fuck...any hints why the alignment is screw?? i did measure the rack on both side but when i install it the upper bolt on the knuckle couldn't go in so i have to turn the rack so the upper bolt can align with the dent to make it go in? i know my writing is kind of confusing but if you installed a rack before maybe you'll understand..lol

tomorrow i'll unhook the rack from the knuckle and center the rack..but instead of turning the rack to make the bolt fit in, i'll turn the steering wheel from inside the car...does this sound right to you guys?.. seem to me the e30 m3 rack doesn't bolt up at the knuckle if you center the m3 rack and center the steering wheel inside...

turn out the rack just need to be even on both side..don't feel that much of a difference from m3 and 318 rack...
