    Stomp code 1211

So my CEL is on all the time, and doing the stomp test gives me a 1211. I tried disconnecting the battery for a minute letting it run for 30 seconds, then letting it sit for 30 seconds, and it still gives me the same code.

The only drivability problem I have is a pretty poor idle. It's around 900 RPM and very rough, the whole car shakes. Other than that it runs perfect.

    It's a 1987 325i with a 173 DME, Mark d chip. The engine is a 2.7 stroker.

    Thoughts?

Since a power reset resulted in the 1211 reappearing, replace the DME.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
