I had this problem with mine, wouldn't sense closed throttle and wouldn't cut off the fuel so the car decelarted very slowly and idled higher.       Thanks for making this thread! I`m having the exact same problem as you, especially with the de-acceleration thing. I`m gonna replace the tps this week.

        Don't replace it! Test and adjust it just as described in the Bentley manual. Thats all I had to do on bimmer_e30's car.
