I would test all your sensors (CPS comes to mind, should be about 540ohms of resistance), coil, etc.

electrical problems suck, I still haven't fixed my TPS. gotta rewire the whole damn thing too... yeah, make sure your TB isn't leaking coolant :P

I think my CPS packed up and went home.

I took it out to have a good look at it, its definately toast.

The big yellow and black wires look fine. The 2 small black wires, the shielding, and the rubber cord are wasted.

Looks like I need to hit Patrick up for one of these tomorrow.

That's what I was thinking, thanks for the confirmation.

Sounds and looks like the definite cause of your M20 woes, Jordan.

i read somwhere about the fuel systems having trouble on E30's when its below half a tank some times, the pump can't hold the presure cause of less fuel, top it off or clamp the return line and see if she winds up, also im more partial to the chevron gas... anywho sounds fuel related, i have that problem as well but its only when i first start the car and its at the low RPM's not the the high... anywho good luck to ya

Somehow I feel the picture he posted is the culprit, not fuel issues.

Jordan, if that doesn't solve the problem, maybe try swapping in a known good ECU.

My in tank pump is new, and the outboard pump is not very old. I run my take till the light comes on all the time. in 9,000 miles or so I've had the tank more full then 1/2 once.

Ain't the issue. My money is on the CPS, I will order one tomorrow, should fix it.
