cruise control stalk is sagging/loose, fix?

So the cruise control stalk works but seems to be unconnected, it sags and hits my driving leg, a bit of a nuisance. Does anyone know how to fix the stalk? do I need to take the steering column apart? and if so, what do I need to do to reconnect/screw down the cruise control stalk?

    Thank you!

you should be able to tighten the screw if you remove the steering wheel. MAYBE the bottom of the shroud (which is two screws).

Same thing happened to my vert recently. For me, the problem was fixed by reinstalling and tightening the bottom screw (of the two that hold it in place). You should have a direct shot at it with the wheel off. No need to remove the shroud, but it's not difficult if you need to only remove the bottom piece.
