Come on guys... he has to start somewhere. Granted, that searching would prove to be more fruitful... but still.

OP, 3-5K will get you a complete kit. HP varies with your setup. But if you are trying to see if the money is worth the HP... well, I think that it is. It really depends on what you want to do.

I say if you want to make things easier on yourself, just buy a complete kit. MAYBE you'll save money if you put one together yourself, but to me the headaches of trying to get it all sorted out is not worth it.
