    clutch and brake pedal assembly

Are there differences in the pedal assemblies between '86-89? I looked at an '86 'es' coupe and an '89 vert in the yard today and saw that the vert had two more bolts where it screws in to the steering column. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. :)

I've always been under the impression that the only change was airbag vs. non-airbag.

airbag models have airbag pedal box

later models had plastic clutch petals and a different box

      early models have metal ones

early model ones are prone to cracking along the side of the stamped support bracket.

          Yes
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

            How about this:

will the pedels off an '90 (airbag) car fit the box in a '89 (non-airbag)?

The brake pedal will. Don't know if the clutch will or not.

Be advised you will likely still need different bracketry/supports for the clutch pedal (i.e. non-airbag support brackets) even if the airbag clutch pedal fits.
