    I had a 3.25LSD in my 86 325es. It was perfect. At 65mph on a flat highway I would get 36mpg with no A/C on. About 30mpg with A/C.

I've got a 3.46 open, if yours is an LSD you can swap your guts over. 3.46 and 3.64 are 2 of the hardest to find ratios except for 4.27, 4.45 and other silly stuff like that.

There's a way to make an open dif into a lsd? Does anyone know of any diys explainig this. I always thought all you did was take the insides of the dif and swap em with the new ones. Didn't know you could combine the two. Anyone try this?

Has anyone tried this? I thought you just swap everything that's in the casing lsd or not.
