aftermarket ix parts? bwahaha.. even if they existed, I wouldn't buy them. own up and buy the parts, or he can sell it. he shouldn't be driving an ix if a.) he can't respect it and b.) he can't afford to.

your other alternative of course is used. call scrap yards (BMW ones specifically). but you're still looking at a hefty shop bill.. I doubt your friend has the competence to work on an ix front end.

well he traded his dirt bike for it, its in pretty rough shape body wise, but its had an engine rebuild, and he curbed it cause it was either rear end a new F350 or hit a curb. it was a sheet of ice and the F350 stopped right when the ice ended and he just slid so he turned for the curb... anyways yeah the scrap yard was like 300$. and i think he could get through the front end work, we had the front end apart a while ago to change his bent controll arm, and threw it back together pretty quick... it was shitty work tho.. wasn't as bad as my car to change the controll arm. anyways i think he'll just leave it till he can get the money. its not bend bad you can't even tell by looking at it.
