    Unknown drive shaft problem

Ok so I installed a new CSB yesterday on my car, the old one was destroyed. The previous owner had currently installed the guibo, tranny mounts. I check the u joints whilt putting in the CSB and tthey were good. I drove about 50 miles or less today and the brand new CSB failed. Any ideas on the source of the problem??

A failure of the CSB is almost always the result of binding u-joints in the drive shaft. Replacing just the CSB may gain temporary relief, but the news CSB will have a short life. The only long term fix is to replace both the CSB and drive shaft.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Does your car vibrate under power? you can usually tell a bad u-joint from the drivers seat.

the car only vibrates under moderate or heavy acceleration when first pulling out or going up hills. The shaft is hitting right under the e-brake handle

                  yeah, it's new DS time...seriously!
On both my e30's I've replaced the DS's. I totally got rid of any vibrations caused by bad joints (usually occurs to the rear joint first).
