Op I think you're thinking of 2.5 head on 2.7 block for low compression 2.7. No reason to use the 2.7 head. Do more research

Yeah. So i'm thinking something like a 3.73 LSD not locked becuase there is going to be some DDing in this car.

Set up is gonna be a m20 2.5 with a 2.7 head with a thick headgasket boost about 10-15 lbs.

What tranny do i need to get to hold that much power??

No, what you want is a 2.7 block with a 2.5 head. This is perfect for boost because compression is relatively low.
