Think 215/60/14's on OEM baskets will fit?

Like the subject says. Anyone know if there would be any rubbing with that combo on a 90 325is with M3 springs?

Just wanna know if I should jump on a local deal.

    TIA

It's been done. There really aren't any 215/60/14 tires that are actually good though, so the extra width is sort of a lost cause.

I know, in fact 14" selection is pretty piss poor nowadays. I was thinking of an all-season 205 witdth solution but I saw this add for the 215's and was just wondering about it to save some $$.

they will probably fit, but you'll have no sidewall support. and they'll be way too tall.. it will look funny. :)

They fit, I used to run a set of Yokohama AVS-UHD's in 215/60/14 back in like 1998.

What tires have you found in a 215/60/14? Are we talking street tires?

Aye street tires. Either Michelin MXV's or HGT's; don't have an exact ID yet.

I think the overall diameter is pretty close to stock 195/65/14's but like Nando said, sidewall support could also be an issue.

                195/65/14 sidewall = 5.0"
                215/60/14 sidewall = 5.1"

If you really want cheap all-seasons that actually perform very well, look into the Falken ZE-512. Very cheap.

Where do you guys get this stuff?????

They will fit fine, and are not far off in diameter from stock 195/65R14's.....
