AFM Problems

Right now my car is running but with the afm dissconected . every time i connect it car starts idling funny and when i punch the throttle it kills it. when i dissconnet the afm the car runs fine. any one have any ideas ive checked 3 other afm and have the same problem. i know i have excess gas im getting black smoke from the exhaust. right now im running on a walbro 255 fuel pump 19lb injectors and im thinking the fuel preasure is to high. If anyone has any sugestions please let me know. please help.

have you tried swapping in another dme? idle control valve? throttle position sensor?

Since you have tried different AFM's, those symptoms make me suspect intake leaks.
