can anyone tell me what style of heater cores came in what m/y cars. i've been looking around the forum and i can't seem to find a definite answer. i'm trying to get some parts for another forum member, and i haven't had the time to finish pulling mine out to inspect it. rather than leave him hanging until i can make the time to pull the console apart (which might be towards the end of the weekend), can someone tell me what core/valve i need? the car is an '87 325is. thanks in advance.

For cars w/Aluminum inlet - 64 11 8 391 363 - this is the most common one.
For cars w/plastic inlet - 64 11 8 391 362
I think you need the one with the aluminum inlet (part #64 11 8 391 363) . Check in Realoem.

Eearly and late model cars still can use 363, cars that came w/o AC from the factory have the 362 kind and the whole heater box is different.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
