^^You cut the heads off, extracted, & replaced them with regular bolts?

Yep, once you grind the heads off the stud is super easy to take out. I replaced them with regular bolts but if you order the tamper proof bolts from bmw they'll send you bolts with torx heads on them. I'm going to put them in my car because they are proper "shear" bolts. Also, try not to damage the plastic washers that go with the tamper proof bolts, you'll want to reuse them.
