    19lb injector question

I found a set of 19lb injectors for sale. The seller said that three of them were instrumented for temperatures. I asked him to explain more about it, and he said that:
They were instrumented to test the fuel temp and injector temp. These injectors were originally some type of test part for Bosch, but never used. I bought these a few years ago at a swap meet. I am now using 42 lb injectors, so I have no need for these any more. Of all the injectors I bought only 5 or 6 had been instrumented. So as I mentioned earlier, only 3 of the 8 I have left were instrumented. The reason I removed the thermocouples is for someone like me I would have no use for this, but the modification to the injector does not effect function.
So, do you guys have any thoughts about how some of them being instumented, and having their thermocouples removed? Should I get these? He says that these modifications does not effect the funcionality. Is he telling the truth? How much are these worth? Thanks.

The temperature instrumentation would be of no benefit to you and could only lead to a higher likelyhood of problems down the road. Unless 19lb injectors are normally very expensive and these are a steal I'd avoid them. I'd like to know what the heck he did to his engine to make a switch to injectors with over twice the flow rate...

How long are injectors good for? I found another set of 19lb injectors for sale, but they have 40,000 miles on them. Should I get these or stay away from them?

Does anyone else have any thoughts on the first set of injectors I asked about in the first post? They are all brand new, and five of them are unmodified. So, I would be only using one modified injector. Should I get these or would you not recommend it? What could potentially go wrong with these?

How much do 19lb injectors normally sell for? Is $32.50 shipped a good price for the six new injectors mentioned in the first post? I could also get eight of them for $42.50 shipped (five unmodified- three modified) if I wanted a couple spares.

40,000 is fine, you can have them professionally cleaned before you put them in and replace the seals, they will be good as new. plus you get a set of 8 so if one or two go bad you have backups..
