No that would be the thermostat finally passing the big bubble of air through it before opening.

Just bled the coolant but didn't see any bubbles. Was I supposed to have the resovoir cap on or off during this process? I tried it with it on at first but took it off to see if it would make bubbles come out. I'm gonna check it out in a lil bit and see if it still idles hot. Anyone know what mark its supposed to rest at at idle? Or what I should be doing next if this doesn't solve it? The temp gauge was sitting at 3/4s when I turned it off....

You need to let the system pressurize=the cap has to be on. Let the car run long enough for the thermostat to open so like 10 minutes at least as long as it isn't overheating before that time.

The bleeder screw needs to be the highest point in the cooling system when doing this so drive up on some blocks or something to elevate the front of the car.

By squeezing the rad hoses and blocking off the radiator expansion hose where it comes into the overflow tank you can sort of pump a lot of the air out of the hoses I find this helps quite a bit.
