I hate all these noises!!!! how do I systematically eliminate...

I have a JB racing 9lber with the stock Clutch as well. I get a buzzing/ vibration on decel, its the same in every gear, and nearly goes away instantly once it hits 2999 RPM. Dont know if it is a Vibration in the Exhaust, or in the engine mounts going causing the motor to tilt and buzz against something on decel, but it is definitley RPM dependent.

That being said my exhaust is rattly, and has a loose baffle in the muffler which causes an annoying sound.

I also Lifted the car up not to long ago, adn couldnt really see anything obvious to cause rattling.... heat shields? engine buzzing?

    what do yall think.

Start by replacing the motor & transmission mounts and the exhaust.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

          restore car with stock parts?

jk make sure everything beneath the car is torque down correctly, exhaust mounts, heat shield etc.

Not the right car, but the methods are there.

Wow, never knew that's what NVH stood for. Silly me thinking it was "harshness" all these years.

To the OP, if you get a rattle it might just be your layshaft/input shaft bearings combined with your light flywheel. But it's hard to say.
