Weird Buzzing noise around drivers feet.

So one day my car started making a very strange sound. It comes from the drivers door jamb area, near the speaker kick cover.

It sounds like a relay or motor/ actuator that is stuck in the on position perhaps.

it stays on when the car is off, and it turns off when the ignition starts.

My central locking also stopped working about the same time.


Any guesses?

The central locking controller is behind the speaker on the drivers side. Sounds like its time to pick up another one.

is it #17?

it says emergency switch.

I just pulled one our of another car. this is where the noise comes from.

there was also a normal sized relay next to it on the same little metal holder plate. Any clue what that was?

The other one I believe has something to do with the interior lights.Any idea what they call it?
