    Wiper Linkage

I just completed the conversion to mono-wiper and this was one of the biggest pain's of any task I have ever done on any car. What a piece of shit design to fit that whole assembly in a space that barely fits it with an access hole even smaller.

I ended up taking off the panel on the firewall, then the blower cover, blower motor, blower shroud, recirc flaps (broke one of the plastic rods connecting the flaps on one side), wiper motor....finally I was able to unbolt the wiper linkage and even when I got it below the sheet metal it was wedged in and very difficult to maneuver out.

BTW the mono-wiper linkage goes in like butter since the post on one side is cut off...ridiculous...anyone have one of the connection rods between the recirc flaps?

Again by far the worst job I have had to do on my e30

Yea it was bad...but as soon as you go to mono-wiper it will never be as bad as the mono-linkage goes in and out MUCH MUCH easier!

the motor itself is an easy swap, maybe an hour. The linkage though? If it ain't broke, don't fix it... and if it's broke? Pay somebody else to fix it. ;)
