where is my oil pressure switch being grounded?

My oil pressure light (not level) is always on, even with the plug pulled. The bentley tells me it should turn off when the plug is pulled which I guess makes sense since it is a single prong. So where is a common place for a ground issue which would cause my light to always be on? I am thinking gauge cluster, I have yet to trace the wire in a diagram.

you have a short somewhere, I think. iirc the pressure switch grounds the wire to turn it on, correct? so somewhere along the way, that wire is being grounded by something else, would be my guess.

yes. any idea where that could be? The wire goes from the c101 to the cluster. any common places? I'm going to pull the cluster and look around, maybe toss a new board in.
