I checked their site, and they want 30 bucks (plus shipping) for the damn things. Im pretty sure I can beat that price. Im looking at a price point of about 20 bucks (plus shipping).

They do take a bit of time to make (all by hand for me), but there isnt much in the way of material in them. I personally wouldnt pay more than $20, as a reman alternator with new bushings is about 65 or so from AutoZone or Checker.

they do seem to be a great upgrade for the alt.

I just finished making some out of UHMW polyetheylene, and these seem to be a much better fit than the steel. Easier to machine, more forgiving of tolerances in the alternator body, and a more snug fit to the shaft for the bolt. I think these are the way to go, as even though they are plastic, they are still impervious to the things that kill the rubber bushes.

Any chance you're still able to make these? Currently, IE and AKG do NOT make upgrade bushings for the e30 M42 alternator...

            For the record:
            IE is for M10 e30's
            AKG is for S14 e30's
