so over this summer I plan on ripping this engine apart and cleaning it up and replacing common ware parts and adding a few things. here is my list of ideas so far:
>"i" intake manafold - does this "bolt up" or do I need to port it like on an ETA?
>new "i" cam - is this the best option? and what do I need to replace along with it ... im a newb at overhead cam engines
>new m20b25 double valve springs
>"i" throttle body- is this as big as I can go or can i use the m30 / would that be an imporvement?
>m30 AFM - from seeing others conversations it seems some modifying needs to be done for it to work, could you point me in the right direction as to what needs doing?
>CAI? - if so what kind etc.
>chip - what is a good solution for this should I use somthing for the b25 bc of the cams or should I use something for the supereta...custom burned is most likely out of my pricerange but ill take info none the less.
i'd like to get this engine to atleast 170ish bhp, is this possible and realistic with the mentioned mods?
comments? , what further can be done for gains?
-Trying to become less of a newb,
Thomas
