    Roofrack experts: hardtop

Looking for a better option for building a hardtop roofrack other than having to drill a existing base. Are there any roofracks that work on the same design as the hardtop roofrack? Pics of roofrack design.

i think im going to try to get access to the machine shop at my school and if it works out i'll try to figure out how to manufacture some way to make an attachment for a roof rack. i really want one for my snowboard but really can't afford to buy an OEM one.

well im thinking that a plate could be made to fit in the original spot but have a shape so that a regular roof rack could be attached.

there has to be another roofrack with the same design used in other cars. Just so freaking hard to look this information up online.

Check this rack system out. DL the instructions.

It looks like it requires a base plate and the base of the rack attaches similar to the OEM system. Now just have to find a base plate that fits the hardtop
