eta Muffler to an i car question

I have an ansa sport muffler for an "e" and was wondering if it was ok to put it on my "i" The only difference I see is that its a single pipe entry and the i exhaust is dual pipe. So i would need to get something fabricated to be able to install it. The tips also go straight out and not at an angle. But is it a good idea? If not, ill just end up selling it. Let me know. Thanks.

Heres a link to the muffler. http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Ans...BW3067/795682/

Personally, I would not do smaller than a 2.25" single on any 2.5L engine that I expected to rev over 4500RPM...what is the inlet diameter?

No, it makes no sense. Ansa sport was just a decent muffler 15 years ago, today it's obsolete with cheaper universal stainless mufflers available in a dual in/dual out configuration. Just get the right muffler for your application.
