Well,why does my M10 seems to be able to spin my rear wheels a lot when using metal covered spark plug wires instead of the OEM bremi ones?
I mean this kind of spark plugs in the photo makes the car go wild...

The M10 has a 4.27 LSD on the back.Both sets of cables are rated 5kΩ!

I think so too.
The only non stock motor part is an alpina exhaust header.
Non insulated.Destroys oem cables within a year and a half.
But the insulation only does that to the power band?!?

I think its just you. the metal isnt gonna give you more power i dont think. HOwever.

Ok,it s not just my perception.
I drive the same roads every fuckin day and the difference is there.
Maybe the BOSCH cables are better quality.I dont know.
Maybe the heat insulation works better for the car.

You know for example that NGK spark plugs are worse than Bosch ones right?
Both companies provide a part number directly for the same motor (M10 in this case).
There s a noticable difference between them as far as the way the M10 behaves under load.
Maybe thats my imagination as well?

You'll have to remove your turbo encabulator from the intake though or it isn't fair.

So unless you're going to remove your header... that dyno sheet doesn't mean anything. That might tell you how much of an improvement things were with the 2 things you put in, but it won't do a good comparison on 2 different wires...

Well,I know what you mean but right now I ve no intention at all to remove headers just for a dyno run.Too much hussle.Still it ll be interesting to see how its doing now.

Btw,as far as the original question,anybody has a clue?
I m sure it has to do with the cable quality.
I mean whats the difference between oem spark plug cables and high performance ones? Less resistance? Better conductivity? What s different?
