    no i havent...but i would think the gauge would still go up when i touched it to negitive which makes me think the wiring is bad, do u know how much a sender costs?

      When you say 'touch it to negative' what do you mean? You have to ground the positive cable that goes to the sender. When you ground it, the temp gauge should shoot up. I bought my sender used for $15. They're about $50 new (for the M10 at least).

        yeah i ment ground, mine didnt shoot up but maybe the m42 setup is different because of the 3 wires. I might just take it to the dealer and see if they can fix it :(
