Yeah. So I pull up, and the cables feel tight. But it's not doing anything, since the car still rolls :) What's the deal? Gotta be the shoes or could be something else?
Ebrake handle feels solid, does nothing....

Pop open the e-brake assembly in the rear and you should be able to easily tell what the problem is. Could be the adjusters, springs, pads, etc. -
So it's in the actual disc assy? Good, I can rule out a simple tightening of the cables...thanks TJ.Originally posted by DigitalwavePop open the e-brake assembly in the rear and you should be able to easily tell what the problem is. Could be the adjusters, springs, pads, etc.Comment

Gotcha. I bought brand new shoes, just was hoping to save them for my euro. Guess theyre gonna go into the ol' beater :)Originally posted by draculiamost likelye your shoes are just worn, unless you're hearing your brakes drag. pull the rear discs to make sure you have some meat left on the shoes and adjust them. there is an adjuster on both rear assemblies, and at the base of the brake handle
Why dont you make the trek up to our neck of the woods some time for a meet? It'd be good to get a new face in the mix..Comment
