As long as you are positive that coolant isn't getting into the oil you should be fine for another month. Just make sure to watch the leak and keep the oil level topped off. It isn't all that uncommon for these engines to leak oil externally from the head gasket. Small to moderate external leaks can be monitored, but any sign of an internal leak should be addressed immediately to prevent serious engine damage. I would avoid using that crap as I doubt it will do anything other than plug up your cooling system. -
you are lucky. I have coolant going into my oil. fortunately it's a really slow leak, I just changed my oil and will avoid driving it when I can (still have work and school every day), and tear it apart next weekend.Comment
