Huh? They look to be the same chinese garbage you see on ebay. What are you after?

lol, maybe its not a good idea. I was looking for some inexpensive racing seats, streetbeatcustoms, they seem to have some ok things and some crap.

Cheap seats are cheap seats. I'd fix up the OE sport seats myself, they are nice in good working order.

If you actually have a need for "racing" seats, the chinese seats are not it.

I have the stock crap seats, half broken, they suck. No one local has the oe sport seats, and shipping is darn expensive

The backs twisting when you sit in them? There are two screws at the bottom under the back panel that ALWAYS come loose.

Options and Spec d mainly cater to the Japanese car scene but they're good people with good prices. They sell both the cheap "jdm/trendy" items along with the reputable high dollar items as well. Both are located here in socal. Spec d is not open to the public but I believe Options is. My buddys shop use to have accounts with both of them and I use to do parts pickup for him as a side job through college.

believe me, there is nothing about the OE seats that cant be fixed.

pull them and take a better look at them.

and if you have the comforts seats (ie not the sport seats) why dont you hit up your local junkyard? i found a great set of cab/m3 seats in black leather. only needing the rails replaced for $80.

There is wisdom to the above statement.

I know that there's nothing that can be lubricated or tightened to fix rips and tears, BUT those aftermarket seats are a serious pain in the ass.

You get a seat, period. attaching it to the car becomes your problem, and they do not bolt up in any way shape or form at all. You will be fabricating brackets. Then you have to worry about installed height, if you can use the OE slider..... They just suck, unless you have to go with them to run a harness or have something really high end you want to use. Definitely not worth it for a cheap seat.
