When i first got my car i thought that the battery was in the trunk because there is a (non-working) alarm in it. But I just noticed that alot of you have the battery in the trunk and the cover for the batery also says bmw. Was this an option or something?

on most every e30 ive seen besides mine the batterie is in the trunk. for some reason mines upfront. Im assuming mine was moved up there after the engine swap. :)Comment

Most e30s had a trunk battery, except for the cabrio.
