    water in passenger rear seat?

I figured it was a matter of time - parking the car outside, leaving it sit on weekends, and all the heavy rain we've had. I think it's just on the passenger rear floor - the floor mat is soaked. I haven't ever had trouble with leaks before.

So which drain is clogged? I think there are 4 in the sunroof? blow it out with an air compressor?

I know the trunk isnt leaking - I hadnt thought of the door vapor barrier though. I know the window gaskets take a beating being outside all the time.

Are you 100% positive the trunk isn't leaking?
I once capped a gallon of coolant crooked and threw it in my trunk after use. Days later I pulled my rear seat and carpet to look at my fuel pump and tah-dah! Drops of green liquid everywhere! Looked in my trunk and the gallon was empty due to the crooked cap.

Yes, I looked. Also the trunk gasket, tailight seals and antenna grommet are less than a year old.

check for rot holes in the front wheel arches(behind the struts). thats where is always seems to come from over here.-- somehow, the front carpet seems to stay dry and it all collects in the rear.

also could be the rear door seals, had a e36 a few weeks ago at work that had a ton of water coming in the rear.

No rust on this car, thankfully! I think the door gasket is ok, I recently replaced the bad ones, but ill have a look.

Look along the rocker panel, there are three or four small weep drains. A flathead will open them all up.

I checked around the door seal and the door panel - no water coming from there. also felt around the roof to see if anything was leaking around the sunroof, but it was dry.

won't have a chance to get under the car until saturday, and meanwhile it's still raining..
