E30 Header Question

    I'm gonna hijack this thread for a sec...

    sounds like all of you have headers. most that I have seen do not have the bellows built into the downpipe. did you weld in a flexpipe somewhere or just leave them solid with no problems. I ask because I broke my bellows and have been toying with just welding a piece of solid pipe in it's place. thanks and sorry.

      Mine don't have any bellows, just solid pipes from the head down to the resonator. Not had any problems with it yet and they've been on the car now for 1.5 years (2 different types).
      Driving is the only way to go faster....
