3.25s don't seem to be super common either.

If you took the guts out and installed them in the proper E30 case then they would work but honestly that's more work than it's worth.

The Euro Depot just quoted me $495 for a 3.46 LSD.

And there's a guy that has a feeler for a small case 3.45 LSD that has zero miles on it. He's looking to get $550 shipped.

    I got my 3.46LSD out of a E24 5spd. I also have a 3.25LSD from a 84 533i 5spd.

Scouring Craigslist I found a "supposed" 3.46 LSD that came out an e36 318is. Did the 3.46 LSD come out of the e36 too?

E28 535is AUTO-TRAGICS are also blessed with 3.46 slips. My schnitzer 3.7L M30 powered E30 had a 3.25 and it was nice on the highway but i think a 3.46 would have been better. Honestly, BMW first gears are so low you are going to have traction problems no matter what rear gear you choose if you have some HP. I couldnt even put 2/3rds throttle on the ground in first with mine.

Behind a 0.81 getrag 260 It might not be the best combo but 5th gear cruising will be great on fuel.

What rear end do you have?

Hmm, have you used a 3.25 in a swapped car with a G260? Whats the cruising rpm at about 80mph?

Edit: Nevermind, some seraching leads me to believe that a 3.25 will work well for me.
