Stupid Idiot Retard Dumb Battery Mistake

Okay long story short I had to take my battery out to jump a stranded vehicle I couldn't reach with my car. I took my battery out. Jumped it. But the battery isnt the right battery for an e30 and the contacts were backwards. So I installed it the same way every other e30 battery is installed and sparked the shit out of it. I ended up buying a new battery but now the radio and tach aren't working and from a quick look the fuses are intact.

It was running. Then the battery drained over night so I put it on the charger and tried starting it and all I got was a loud buzz from under the drivers side dash when the key is turned.

Speaking of lucky, I was cranking over the 318 that was in the barn for over a year, had the charger pumpin some serious amperage to it. It would kinda start but die and I heard some ticking, found out the wires were bad, re-routed them (I didnt like how the guy had the coil lead running and laying next to two cyl wires) when I did that the coil wire grounded out and jumped to the strut, THATS NO GOOD. lets put it in the air and crank it again, then BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM the battery explodes and sends acid all over the front of the car, and me on the other side, coating my eye. my friend standing only inches from the battery, had nothing!! FLUSH, hospital, optomitrest. WOW, you have had a lot of stuff in your eye, its very scared, but they both look good!

That is lucky!! car parts can be replaced at a cost, your body is forever!!
