Just wondering what the wires connecting from under the drivers side seat and to the drivers side seat do?

What are those vents for? I see them peeking out from every carpet that is posted on here. I just pulled my seats out to dye the carpet black and neither the driver side or the passenger side has the vents. Are they important/necessary? I have the wire for the seatbelt btw, just nothing else aside from the carpet.Comment

Just be sure the seat belt pinging noise works. I had some trouble with it in the past and ended up unplugging it since it kept pinging while I was driving, even though I had my seat belt on.Comment
