do all e30 windshields fit eachother of all years?
i heard the m3's were a little different..
someone confirm that they are all the same except m3?

M3 ones are different.

I think the main reason why is that M3 ones attached to the body to improve stiffness,
compaired to non M cars with a gasket in them.

You CAN in fact fit the front windshield from an E30 M3 into a standard E30, but you'll also need the M3's low-profile windshield seal and locking strips. With those parts, it's a direct fit.

damn, i replied to this thread as a joke. but when i got in my car thismorning, i noticed about a nickle size pit smack dab in the middle of my windshield. damnit, NOT what i was expecting.

The M3 glass fits with the seal, glue, and interior A-pillar trim panels. It provides a body stiffness and aerodynamic advantage over the stock E30 glass.

The downside is $$$.
