Generally an e30 should do around 300-350 miles

I didn't know these cars had them till mine lit up when I was driving one night, scared the crap outta me at first!

Damn I'm only getting like 200 per tank. I'm trying to let it run out but Ive been driving to far.

Well, no odometer so no idea but I think I'm averaging 220-250 a tank..maybe. Gonna get a working odometer first and figure that out first. Guess I'll replace the sender and see what happens.

A non-working odometer is usually failed gears, which can be replaced.

Early model tank in late model e30. (single level sensor, car wants two)

What do I need to do to get my gas gauge to work? Is it as simple as splicing the other level sensor wires to my one level sensor? Will it need an early cluster/gas gauge?

Jumper the connector for the left side sensor and replace the gauge in the cluster with one for an early car.
