    Unloader Relays Question

I have an early model engine and harness (thus, early 3 post starter and 3 wires) in a late model car. What do I need to do to get my windows and all to work? I don't really care if the relays are stuck in the "on" position. Ground pin 85 of each of those relays, right? If so, how? Splice into the GN/BK wire on the car's side of c101 (pin 15 IIRC) and run it to ground? I'm not that keen on the idea of modifying the car's harness.

I dunno, I just need my windows to work. One of them can't even be moved manually because the hex key spot is stripped out.

put a jumper wire between front and left relay holes for k5 and k7.

do your windows work now? how about just k5? or just k7?

like this. if you use a fuse, you'll have to bend the tabs so you can fit it in. its easier to just use a wire stripped at both ends, like speaker cable. tbh.

yeah, i wasn't sure about leaving power permanently from 30 to 87. that's what i'm using right now. i guess now my question is, what do i have to do to get my unloader relays working as intended? splice in and run their switching wires to the small terminal on the starter?

Yes, correct. That green/black needs ground when the car is running, +12V when cranking.

I believe the starter terminals are reversed on an E36 starter, but that shit is simple enough to test.
