A/C Makes My Engine Wanna Stall.

Hey guis. So after doing a head swap and gasket change got the motor running great M42. But now when I cut on the A/C the engine wan'ts to stall.

I tried effing with the idle screw but that just makes the idle gay when the a/c is off. This is odd as every other car I've had it's the exact opposite. The engine r3vs up when you cut the a/c on..... my car doesn't do that, it boggs down

    Help please?

If the idle speed increases when the A/C is engaged, I'd suspect intake leaks and/or a cam timing error.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The idle speed is supposed to increase when you push the blue AC button to compensate for the extra load!

no, I'm sayings it's the opposite, my car revs up to 1.8k when the ac is off! it bogs down to 300-500 when the ac is on and wants to die

sounds like your idle system is not functioning and/or you have severe vac leaks.

also, Motronic 1.3 cars and later do not have an idle screw. If you've adjusted your throttle stop, put it back the way it was. The idle control will not work and it will cause problems like you've described.

I want a motor that revs to 18k. How long did your F1 swap take?

I would say you need to test the ICV to see if it is working properly. Get a bentley manual!

I Have a bentley manual and I've already checked vac leaks and the idle valve has been checked cleaned and replaced. same issue. Trust, I went through some things before posting.
