Window switches - how to do you repair 'em?

I have two window switches that don't work at all, and one that works only in the down direction.

I know the windows themselves operate, because I took the one good switch and tried it in all four positions - all work fine.

So I need to repair the other three.

How do I do that? Do I have to take them apart somehow?

I have 4 or 5 of them that you could have for cheap in case you just want to pop some working ones in

You can pry the switches open, look around the sides of each switch, there are tabs that hold the sides in place. Once you pull it apart, you can check to see if the contacts are still in good condition and clean them down if not.
