I pulled my instrument cluster and replaced two gears in my odometer (E1 and E2). Both clearly had broken teeth and needed replaced. When I was reinstalling the wiring to the back of the cluster, I replaced the blue, green and white clips, but there was a smaller pair of wires that had a connector that went into one of four outlet possibilities. I put it in the top opening, but alas, after replacing everything, the odometer still isn't working. I made sure the gears were able to spin and were moving the numbers on the odometer prior to re-installing, but as I said it didn't work. I am wondering if that smaller pair of wires should have gone into one of the other openings. Anyone have a clue if this could be my problem or should I try something else?
