anyone have problems with URO hoses?

ive put a whole hose set on my car and it has been non stop nightmares with coolant leaking. When i do the clamps up tight they put a grove in the hose and become looser again. i found a fair amt of small rubber pieces where the res meets the lid, i get white gunk coming out of the hose ends and also a bit of leaking...

just doing my head in. i want to blame the hoses because ive never had so much trouble with coolant (had done the whole system twice with old oem hoses).

Anyway am i doing the clamps too tight if they are making grooves in the hoses? or do i just need to nip them up again?

is this a mark of crappy hoses (the clamps bedding in to them)?

    Thanks

clamps should indent into the hose....

and if they are coming loose then your hose clamps are bad. replace them.

they arent loose but if the clamps indent the hose they would lose tightness is what im deducing. when they indent again ill do them up tighter.

I also have a uro coolant cap. i mixed the coolant seperately using a syringe and the coolant in my car looks to be mixed 50/50.

factory clamps have rounded edges thats how you can tell. ifyou use aftermarket ones they could be cutting into the hose when indented

I've never had an issue with URO hoses, used their parts on many vehicles. If a hose clamp is tight there is no reason it should come loose unless it's worn out and not working properly.

i also had a fauly URO sensor once but i chalked that down to bad luck as any manufacturer may let some stuff slip through..

ive done all the bushes on the car myself, swaped rear subframe, changed motor + gearbox, installed e36 rack, wired and tuned megasquirt, done whole timing overhaul on the m20 and this cooling system thing is STILL KICKING MY FUCKING ASS

at the risk of it making me sound like a noob, how the fuck is this still happening? is it because i am using tap water? on the top hose i keep on getting lots and lots of white calcium blobs coming out the hose ends. i did the hose clamps up tighter again.

Were the nipples the hoses fit over corroded? If so it may be impossible to get a true seal.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Please use OEM or QUALITY supplier for coolant and fuel hoses. Those are critical components.

                      Uro is garbage.
