You need a new piece of plastic in there. I forgot what they're called though.

Just get a whole new lever

I have the same problem for my left signal. So it's just a broken plastic tab or something on the lever itself?
I assume access is just via removing the bottom and top steering column plastic covers right.

Take your steering wheel off, you will see what we are talking about. Theres a tab on it that cancels the lever as it comes back, if that is still there, the part on the signal stalk is probably worn out.

The steering wheel has an assembly called a "Slip Ring" on it. The function of the part is to simply hit the cancel for the stalk when turning. It's not a super sturdy part, and can break. You have to remove the steering wheel to service the part. It's not replaceable on all steering wheels, but it is on Mtech 1/2 wheels.

The slip ring is on the steering wheel? Do you think you can get a picture?

yes its on the steering wheel. there should be two small screw on the back. if your horn doesn't work the PO must have taken out the slip ring. if you put a non-airbag wheel on a airbag car you will have to remove that slip ring because the slip ring will scrape on top.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

Google image search came up with this:

It's similar, not exact. The idea is the same, though. It's the piece of plastic with an erection.

Uh... you're confusing shit now. You do not remove the slip ring on an airbag car if you switch to a non-airbag steering wheel. That's bullshit. You remove a white pin that is in the steering column. See this thread.

Thanks Ian! I will be checking this out tomorrow hopefully.

If that plastic erection is busted, I need a new steering wheel? (Hope so! So I can get Mtech, hehe)

It's replaceable on some wheels, but I don't know exactly which. You might get lucky and be able to buy a new one. If it is broken, brand new ones can be purchased for around $15.

That plastic tab is fine on my wheel, so I guess something on the lever is broken then?

Most likely it's not the spring or the plastic tab on the back of the wheel.

Take off your wheel and look on the inside. Flip the lever up and down and you should see a little plastic tab that pops in and out. That's what cancels the signal. When the plastic tab on the back of the wheel hits the plastic piece that pops out on the inside (the end of the lever) it cancels the signal. You probably need a new lever
