    no tach or speedo

i had them working fine yesterday amidst my dash swap, then i plugged the defroster switch into the AC plug by accident. this killed my headlight switch which i have replaced but i still have no tach or speedo. Its not a fuse related problem and its nothing with the back or my gauge cluster because it was work post cluster install. I have no idea what it could be.

Every other thing in my car works as i checked them all after the swap. I need help i really don't want to have to take my car to the shop.

the new dash looks so much better though.

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I have the same problem.

I swaped dashes, installed the one one, pluged everything back up, but now my speedo, tach, MPG, and fuel gauges dont work.

I was wondering if you maybe have found what the problem was?
        Any one have any sugestions?

        Thanks

If your odometer also doesn't work, check your fuses again. I had that problem so I replaced the two causing the problem with 20s. Check them all again if you haven't already.

Well, I ended up somehow fixing the problems. All I did was disconect the battery for 15 min., and connect it back up. Now everything works, although I forgot to connect the defroster switch.
